RE: Wright-Patterson Community Scholarship Fund Offers Scholarships

The Wright-Patterson Community Scholarship Fund sponsored by the Officers' Wives' Club recently awarded scholarships to 20 area high school seniors. Funds for this program are generated by sales from the Base Thrift Shop, various fund raising events, and the sale of Mah Jongg books to players world wide. In addition, USPA/IRA of Beavercreek presents a $3,000 scholarship to the top military dependent applicant. Applicants are selected by judges from various colleges and professions in the local area and winners are determined by their academic achievements, extra-curricular activities, community service and letters of recommendations.
