Institute on the Constitution Course

Course Description & Information

This is a great class for adults and teens to introduce you to the Constitution, our Biblical heritage and the concept of LIMITED government. There are 12 classes of approximately 90 minutes each, comprised of a 30-minute video lecture followed by group review and discussion questions as time permits.

Beginning with the Bible in the book of Genesis, you will learn of the origins of history, law and government. From there, you’ll hear of America’s discovery, settlement and evangelization from exciting, primary sources you never saw in school! Then, the worldview of the founding fathers is discussed, which leads straight to the text of the Constitution.

David Barton of Wallbuilders, Master Teacher of the Founding Era, and Lt. Colonel John Eidsmoe (U. S. Air Force Reserve) are the video instructors. Lt. Col. Eidsmoe holds degrees in theology, law and political science.He is a frequent lecturer at colleges, churches and community groups, has written 10 books, is a constitutional attorney and currently a professor of Constitutional Law.

Cost for the course and notebook with outlines, discussion questions, copies of the founding documents, and much more is $35.

The hosting group will provide the following resources that are used in the course:

  • John Eidsmoe's DVD series, Institute on the Constitution, a study on Christianity & the law of the land;
