The Bible Chronology, How Long Is It?
by Dr. Charles E. Brewster
Summary of presentation:

Are you interested in finding out the answers to the following questions? Does the Bible have a CONTINUOUS chronological sequence from Adam to the crucifixion? Are there "systematic gaps" in the Bible? How long did the Egyptian captivity really last according to the Bible? The answers are interesting, not well known and perhaps controversial, but a straightforward reading of the Bible revealing startling answers!

Dr. Charles E. Brewster did his PhD on this topic and is well informed. He will present an easy to understand fact filled dynamic talk that will emphasize the following conclusions with the Biblical support for each!

Some of the more puzzling verses in all the Bible are in Genesis and elsewhere where it makes reference to genealogies. Can we trust them and why?

The Bible has a CONTINUOUS chronological sequence from Adam to the crucifixion. You will learn how and why this is supported.

There are no "systematic gaps." The "gaps" are more a product of weak or compromising scholarship.

The Egyptian captivity lasted only 215 years. This is interesting!

The Greek Old Testament agrees with the Greek New Testament.

The times of the Judges overlapped.

The times of the Egyptian dynasties overlapped.

The Egyptian antiquities are unreliable compared to Scripture.

The Scriptures are completely reliable as a source for chronology.

Would you like to learn the answers to these important topics? Come November 10 and bring a friend or perhaps your church.
